Glue bands are coated with a non-drying glue which forms a very efficient barrier against insects. From October until April to protect against winter moths and again from May until August against ants. The bands will also protect against earwigs, adult vine weevil and other crawling insects. The bands are made from special non toxic, non drying glue which is coated onto green waterproof paper. Most Insects will not try to crawl the band - any that try will be caught. The green colour of the band is not attractive to beneficial insects.
