THE PUMP

The "G" series electric gear pumps have been developed for the transfer of all common non-aggressive viscous liquids, whose viscosity at 40°C is contained between 1° Engler (example: water, diesel. Intermittent service only to avoid overheating) and 7th Engler (SAE 30 engine oil or SAE 80 transmission oil, continuous service). Liquids must be clean, without solid parts. They are suitable for the transfer of synthetic oil, mineral oil, water, wine, olive oil, milk or diesel fuel. It is made using our special NOVAX ™ technology, thanks to which all surfaces are treated specifically for temporary contact with food liquids, ensuring greater chemical and wear resistance.

HOW IT WORKS

Gear electric pumps can suck the liquid up to a maximum of 2 metres high without being charged; if the difference in height is higher, it will be sufficient to place a non-return valve at the end of the suction pipe and fill the latter up to the pump. To increase the suction capacity, pour about 10ml of the liquid to be transferred into the pump. In any case, it is always important to bring the pump closer to the container of the liquid to be transferred. If the pump runs dry for more than 10 seconds there is a risk of damaging it. Never operate the pump without the hose connectors. Always connect the supplied filter to the suction pipe before starting the pump. The gear pumps can be used with the dispensing gun only in combination with the safety valve code 920035. All models can work in continuous service at a maximum pressure of 2 bar (0.2 MPa). The 230V powered models are equipped with a switch to reverse the direction of rotation of the motor, this allows you to freely choose the pumping direction. Battery powered models have a sense of rotation bound to the sense of polarity on the electrical terminals.

Main features:

  • 230 a.c. power supply with UK plug
  • 0.8 HP
  • 550 W
  • 2.5A
  • Fittings ø: 20 mm
  • rpm: 2850
  • Maximum flow rate: 20 litres / min
  • μF: 12.5 - 400V
  • Head lift: 25m
  • Max. liquid temperature: 35°C

Normal maintenance is simple. After use, pour clean water to rinse the internal surfaces of the pump. The electric motor requires no maintenance, there are no parts to lubricate. The external parts must be cleaned with a slightly damp sponge, and then dried immediately with a cloth.
