The cylindric conical fermentation tanks FD-ZKG has a cone-shaped funnel mounted underneath its cylindrical shape. This allows the yeast to settle down during the fermentation process and be easily removed afterwards. Even viscous fluids can be completely  drained very simply.

These tanks are designed especially for pressureless fermentation and like other FD tanks are completely made out of AISI304 stainless steel and equipped with a special 3D inner surface for convenient cleaning. The FD-ZKG tanks come with a laser welded double jacket by default and thus for example the producers of bottom-fermented beers can directly connect the double jacket to a cooling unit.
