A fruit crusher from our economy range. It has many of the same features as our classic crusher but is made with different materials. This means you can still get a fantastic machine at a lower price.
- Features the same stainless steel cutting and rolling mechanism as our classic crusher. Specifically designed to produce pulp of the perfect consistency, it will make quick work of your fruit so it is ready to press.
- Robust, welded steel frame that fits directly over a bucket or even the cage of your press for fast, efficient crushing and less mess.
- Food grade stainless steel hopper which will hold up to 7kg of fruit at once.
- Simple operation via a mechanical crank handle. The hopper has an integrated hardwood grip to make using the crusher easier and more comfortable.
As with all our machines, the economy crusher comes with a comprehensive 2 year guarantee as standard.
- Place the crusher over a suitable container to collect the pulp. (A large bucket will work, however we recommend either our 12, 20 or 36 litre cross beam presses as the crusher fits perfectly over the baskets of these).
- Load the hopper with fruit. This can be whole or chopped into halves, quarters or otherwise. The blades will crush whole apples effectively, though it can be helpful to cut some fruits prior to crushing.
- Turn the crank handle and watch as the machine gets to work crushing your fruit into pulp ready for juicing! The freshly pulped fruit will emerge from the bottom of the crusher and fall into whichever vestibule you've placed underneath.
- Repeat the above steps until you have processed all your fruit.
- Once finished, simply hose down with fresh water to remove any excess pulp caught in the blades and allow to dry. For tougher dirt, warm soapy water can be used, just make sure to rinse through with fresh water afterwards!
